all of this

It's like a tiny carnival--
frozen years of joy, spokes
of life
boquetes of laughter,
my favorite place.

*place: the corner of my grandma judy's eyes

We are doing major and minor re-organizing of our tiny wood-floor house, and have found (to include, but not limited to)
 1) what has turned into a stack three feet high of partially used notebooks
 2) additional scraps of paper with bits of songs, observations, homework
 3) far too many chinese teaching materials
 4) upwards of 50 (no exaggeration) undelivered thank you notes and letters of encouragement

I don't really want to write about cleaning [ do it ] or stuff [we have way too much] or thank you notes ["I just think if I went through all the effort you do to write these, I would for sure send them"--eric. I know!]. Just five lines about my grandma (see above) and share a song from the incredible concert I went to last night with the wonderful Cassie Pickle.

*I found the above snippet in a stack of old college notes, we were asked to take three minutes and write about our favorite place.
